Do you have a spare key?
Hi Guys my car finally arrived today. It was shipped all the way from USA to the Philippines.

I was wodering if this new car comes with a spare key? All I got is a 1 key.
I also think the dealer forgot to give me my owners manual....what a major bummer.
I'll have to get back to them for my Manual but was wondering why no spare key came with the delivery.

Yes, I think you should definitely go back to the dealership to get both the spare key and the owners manual.
I got both when the car was delivered to me.
A total of 2 car keys and the owners manual.

I wonder if anyone here has a link somewhere that I can first download a pdf file of the owners manual.

Yes there are two keys for the car. You should smak your dealer's for not giving you the second key.. Looks suspicious. Very bad service if you ask me. You got the same dealer as mine. Mine did some other big mistakes.

I hope they didn't forget anything else.
So far that is the only things that I think is missing.
Is there any other items that I should be expecting from the C350? I got the spare tires, Jack, DVD for Logic 7 and medicine kit.

My first to do list would be take the grill out and have it painted.
The roof spoiler I had is color black to match the pano roof.
But I'm still hoping that I can find a pdf somewhere I can download to use as owners manual while waiting for the BRICK

Yes the car does come with two keys, but in some cases, depending on your dealer, location (country) and whether or not the vehicle was financed or leased (in other words, if you're making some sort of payment on the vehicle)... The dealer and or the lending institution may have the right to retain your (or a) spare key to your vehicle. This is kept as security in the event you do not make your payments, so they can repo the car without the need of a tow truck. It may sound ridiculous, but it's a very common practice. In fact some third party leasing companies here in the US still have such policies. If however you paid cash for your vehicle, then by all means you're owed a spared key. Nevertheless, call up your dealer and find out where your spare key.

dunno if you can do it though
but nevertheless get your manual, leather manual case, and your extra key.
this is a must have! it may not be so important now but when it comes to selling your car its better to have your literature.

I just got confirmation that spare key and owners manual was left behind by the agent.
I will get them by 2nd week March. In the mean time I will try to use the online users manual hope it works.

I'd like to get no of those spare card key that you can keep in your wallet, incase you leave the key in the car and manage to lock yourself out. On second thought, it's impossible to lock the key in, right?

This smells fishy... maybe the dealer dubs your 2nd key and sells to someone who then steals your car... remember this is Philippines anything can happen.

The freight cost is about $2,500.00
I'm not sure with regards to the tax as I"m tax free but locally the C350 sells for approximately $113,000.00
This is just standard C350 with special otpions MM, P2 plus quickpark, keyless go and paddle shift in steering wheels is standard the rim is 17 AMG. (no ipod kit)
I paid about $60,000.00 from LA to Manila which included the $7,500.00 dealer EXPORT FINE to export the car out of USA.
If I had to do it all over again and have the time I won't need to pay for the $7,500.00
But the car came with 18 AMG, Panoroof, roof spoiler, MM, P2, Ipod Kit, Leather seats. ( i don't have keyless go, quick park and keyless go compared to the local ).
Well here's the problem the agent now is saying otherwise that the spare key and owners manual was given to my friend who sign contract of the car which is not true.
I hope they would do something about it soon. The car was towed using their truck directly to the warehouse where it was loaded to the container. My friend only did the paper works at the dealership and they didn't give him anything except for the contract.
I'm not afraid that the car would be stolen but more on if I misplaced the key which has higher probability.
