HID IN FOGs...WHAT BULB TYPE ????

Ok, I "assumed" that the fogs in the sport bumper on the C300 would use 9006 like on almost any other benz but found out the hardway they dont..... does anyone know what bulbs fit in there so I can get the proper HIDs... ??

thanks!

The sport has H7 fogs, and the luxury has H11 fogs.
That is a Fact

Ok... i tried the H7 Kit and the bulb wont "screw" in the assembly like the original bulb does..... the original H7 Halogen bulbs used in the foglamps have some special kind of very larg plastic ring..and then the bulb attached to the top..... dosnt look like a regular H7 bulb...im thinking of either using glue to attach the bulbs or drill through the plastic on the H7 bulb to attach the HID bulb to the original "ring" used on the original halogen bulb..

As long as you do not use them when it is not foggy, good luck.

I do not know of the legality on a state by state basis, but it is extremely inconsiderate to drive with fogs on, and people in LA do it all the time.

Agreed. I looked it up, and it is even against the law in California, but I guess they never follow that law. The conditions are suppose to limit visibility to 500 feet, or something, to use them. People think they look cool. I don't really think they do. I prefer to see their two main HIDs than the fog lamps. I think it looks more attractive.

However, I guess it doesn't hurt anyone. Last time I talked against them someone got mad at me on here. ha-ha.
