I noticed a huge rock from the freeway or something hit the left side of the grille. It’s a “Sport” grill and was wondering how much is a replacement? It bugs me and plus I noticed the star and chrome is quite pitted anyway from road debris. Also is it a straightforward install or does the bumper have to be removed? I would just have it painted black, but my car is gray metallic and don’t think that would be a good contrast. Seems like our huge grilles are very vulnerable to road debris and rock chips.

you don't need to take off the bumber to insert the grille.. at least if it's like most other benzes! it's a simple job

i thikn if you painted the grey parts black on your grille with your paint color, it would actually add contrast and look good because the front bumper mesh is black aswell, so it would flow nicely

It takes less than 5 minutes to remove the grill

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
^ He's right you know. It's a Lux though.

I think a lux grille with the center slats painted black and the surround body-matched, would look great. I am going to have one of each for my car.

Grille cost

<< It’s a “Sport” grill and was wondering how much is a replacement? >>

Dealer retail is $210 minus your MBCA discount. Or, call Caliber Motors in Anaheim who will be cheaper.

I bought one two weeks ago in Seattle.
