lowering suspension question
how would installing aftermarket lowering springs like the ones from H&R, Eibach, etc... affect the active control shocks?

What active control shocks? I believe all the US vehicles have just basic "sport" suspension. There are no electronics in the shocks to my knowledge, just very good valving / damping curves. So with that being said, lowering shouldn't affect the shocks, just as long as the shocks can handle the added spring force.

If you have Bi Xenon lights they will automatically level to the ground according to weight in the car. But as far as an active suspension. Nothing in the US to my knowledge has it. I know the Saks edition has some special features like the interior, but don't believe the suspension is anything different. Go and have the salesman show you how the suspension does this since it is just a spring and shock. Most of the auto leveling systems utilize an air bag instead of the spring.

Levelling
<<My salesman told me my car has electronic leveling and suspension. He said the car recognizes passengers and their weights and adjusts the cars ride.>>
None of this applies to any W204. E & S-Class cars with Airmatic have these features.

The ads I have seen for H&R and Eibach indicate they are not for cars with agility control.
Edit:
Brabus indicates that their system is not for cars equipped with advanced agility package, option code 483. Is that the same as agility control?

God almighty, it's just never ending with the baloney the sales people hand out.
Go back and set his desk on fire.
