Finally.
It arrived Monday and I took delivery last night. C350 in Steel Grey/Grey-black leather with P2, MM, iPod, AMG 18's.
So far (30 miles later) I'm lovin' it.

Thanks. I'm very pleased with the combination. I hadn't seen Steel Grey in the flesh when I placed the order, let alone in combination with the Grey/Black, so I went out on a limb a bit. But I'm very happy. My wife wanted me to get black, but we already have an Obsidian E320 and I wanted something different from that.

so they tell me. i was talking to someone else that is expecting there car in a few days. i dont know if my car will be on the same ship since he was waiting since sept of last year. my build date was for march01 and the dealer said that the car was built and waiting to be shipped. i can not confirm nor deny if my car made the boheme vessel. i can only hope. tried to contact my dealer and am still waiting for the response.

So far, I love the car. Smooth, powerful (enough), refined. Just what I wanted. Haven't yet heard the wind noise from the rr that some complain about, but I can hear (some) tire noise from that area. The car has Conti 18s and if they're noisy with 100 miles on them, I can't wait to hear them once they start to wear.
I like the sound system, though I'm no audiophile. The satellite radio is cool, but I don't know if I'll end up subscribing or not. I like the Blues channel.
I know people have commented on the lack of room in the car, but I honestly can't complain. Granted I'm only 5'8", but with the front seat set for me, I have plenty of leg room in the back seat. I'm a little disappointed with the spare...on first inspection, it appears to be a doughnut and I'm used to having a full-size (even if it's on a steel wheel) spare.
I love the color combination. Hope I can keep the light-colored leather clean.

Forgive the quality, I don't have my camera at work and had to use the phone. Can't really see the difference between the leather and tex, although the leather's not perforated and the grain is much finer. Tex feels softer to the touch though.
