From the manual:

"The outside temperature sensor is located
in the front bumper area. Due to its location,
the sensor can be affected by road or
engine heat during idling or slow driving.
Therefore, the accuracy of the displayed
temperature can only be verified by comparison
to a thermometer placed next to
the sensor, not by comparison to external
displays (e.g. bank signs, etc.)."

Nahhh..they only had 7 years to build you a new c-class. Didn't you see the commercial? Something practical like that, or like a clock that can adjust itself for daylight savings like those found in cheap vcr's, wouldn've taken MB another 3 years to design.

Hey, they only promised you a mercedes, not a lexus.

My dad swears by his Lexus. He thinks all other Japanese/German/American/Korean/etc cars are crap (he likes Italian ). He constantly reminds me about the 1,000,235,006,332,506 checkpoints that each Lexus must be checked at to leave the assembly line. And I gotta admit, Toyota makes one damn bulletproof car. But everything Toyota/Lexus makes (recently) bores me. To death.

Long live M-B! (used to be Bimmer )
