Buldge in the side wall
Get Pirelli PZero Nero M+S. I've had them and have found they are less expensive than Mich.(which suck a$$), Contis., and Goodyears. They perform very well and are the quietest tires I've ever owned. They also last 30,000 miles. I am not sure why they cost so much less than the competiton.
I had a sidewall blister on my other car and had it inspected and I was told it needs to be replaced from a reputable tire center.

But yes, that tire definitely needs to be replaced. You don't want that thing suddenly blowing up on the highway.
Replace it with the same brand and size only as doing otherwise will cause handling problems during heavy braking and/or adverse road conditions.
Don't put your safety and others at risk. Go to your MB dealership if you can't find the tire you need at your local tire shop.

Replacing just one tire may or may not have a noticeable effect on your car's performance. But why take that chance? Is $100~300 (whatever brand you get) more for one more tire really that much more? It's your life!
At the minimum, change both fronts (or rears, wherever the bulge is).

I ended up buying a used tire (same brand, same size) with a similar tread pattern.I can see a problem if you have 1 new tire on the same axle as a used one (even the rolling diameters will be different), but imo that needs to be judged on a case-by-case scenario.
