C300 with Bike Rack

Okay, I know some of you don't like the idea of a bike rack on this car which is totally okay but for my lifestyle (and the fact I traded my ML in for the C) it is a necessity when traveling.

I know there were a few people interested in this earlier so I took a couple of pics the other day when the car was finally clean for 10 minutes due to everything melting here in Minnesota.

I have the stock MB basic rack on the car and then mounted my Yakima racks to this using Yakima MightyMounts. It was difficult to get on but now everything is TIGHT. I can just take the rack off of the car when not using it with 4 simple screws while leaving the entire rack in tact.

Working out good so far. Have a nice Spring everyone!!

I've been wondering what the roof rack would look like on the c. Still debating whether to get one or not for my bikes. Can you add the wind deflector to that MB rack? Thnx for the pics.

I tried adding my Yakima wind deflector but the mounting brackets are for a round rod and the MB one is much bigger and sort of oval. If I can find a way to mount, I would like to get mine on...maybe I will be motivated to figure something out this summer.
