Since paddle shifters are not available in the North American market, the wiring, plugs and inevitable control unit are not in place.
And what do you mean, "not a real Tiptronic" system? Tiptronic is a Porsche trademark and their Tiptronic trans appeared in the early 90s in the 964 series.

I took the risk and bought that steering wheel. Now I have to find/order the AMG airbag because the original stock cannot be used. My original stock is a 3-spoke with paddle shifter already. Was told the wiring is a swap.

Did you notice that the steering wheel on the first photo of this thread is a combination of regular leather and suede on the sides (8-10 o'clock & 2-4 o'clock)?
The second one has perforated leather on the sides.
I prefer the one with the suede combination. Now, what is the right number for the leather/suede wheel in black? Any suggestions on where to get one? TIA guys.

i bought the standard equipment steering wheel from the C63
and yes the F1 shiftpaddles work in my car
The suede is from the performance pack
A204 460 29 03 (I think this is Performance Pack with Alcantara)
A204 460 19 03 (I think this is the standard equipment which i got)
yes its recomended to install this in a MB workshop

Steering Wheel and Airbag
or
Steering Wheel, Airbag, Buttons, and Center Connector?
The reason I ask is because on the MB computer it shows that there are separate pat numbers for the buttons and center connector.
Lastly, does this void the warranty? Thanks!

i ordered the steeringwheel + airbag , the shift paddles was included in the steering wheel
but i have to order the airbag.
its a swap only job because my car is original fitted with paddles
