Some Questions Regarding the New 300
- I wanted to use the 17" inch wheels (non-staggered) from my coupe for snow tires. The dealer said they would fit so I went and bought tires for the wheels. As it turns out, the lug nuts for these wheels don't fit the new size holes. Any suggestions? They are currently looking into the situation.
- Will the rack system from the coupe be able to be used on the sedan? Or, do I need to buy a new on of those? What about the attachments?
- The central dash display always starts with the trip and standard odometer reading. Is there anything I can do to have the display start where I last left it. Didn't find any help in the manual for this one.

The wheels from your old car WILL bolt up to your new C300 but the offset is very different and the wheels will be too far in. They do clear the calipers, barely. 204 lug BOLTS are larger diameter than 203.

The roof dimensions are entirely different and the old rack will not fit.

That is normal operation and cannot be modified. Not in my C300, at least.
(Oops, my bad - it's probably NOT hard to believe that a dealer doesn't know what's going on...)
My dealer's parts guy made sure of this issue before ordering the "wheel hanger" for ours - he called me to tell me that the bolt diameter was different - I had assumed it was the same as the W203.
