Need to figure out how to wire up the brabus wires to properly illuminate the knob. Anyone done this yet?

Hey thats funny, do you have a light on the left of the shift knob that indicates if you are in P R N or D ???

I've also done this mod and I couldn't agree more. The knob feels better and it completes the look of the black interior.

yes its a little orange indicator light for the gear selector...EU models dont have this?

I'm guessing not since I the part out I got was from someone in europe and included his boot, which lacked those indicators.

Did you ended up installing and figuring out the wiring?
I just got mine today and there are no instruction on the wiring. Just a red and black wires.

I am thinking it might just hook into the lights for the gear selection to the side of the transmission.

yeah, it's pretty simple and looks great.

You're right, just strip a bit of the wire to the gear select and patch it in. Then wrap in electrical tape. Done.

Thinking maybe i should of gotten the smooth leather one like yours...
I ended getting the sports one with alcantara leather one...

Should get around installing it this week.

yeah, I had a chance at getting the alcantara one, but opted for the leather one since I didn't have any other alcantara pieces in the car to match.

thanks that would be great.

The boot just clips out from the console? and then the boot can be unclipped?

the knob should then unscrew?

and the wiring is just the gear selection lighting?

The instruction is for automatic, the plastic frame for manual is slightly different.

Just wondering does anyone has the instructions or clips to show how to replace a manual W204 shift knob (that was my original question)?

ended getting mine installed a couple of days ago.
And Brabus door pins for the front.

I'm in the market to buy countersunk or "lower than stock" shift knob for my 6MT.

Call this number 949.797.0177. That's CEC (Claus Ettensberger Corp). They're the only north american distributor of authentic Brabus parts, located in Irvine, CA.
