Help with installing bulbs!
I was installing the low beam bulbs and anyone who has done this knows there is a pin you have to take out in order to get to the bulb. Being clumsy, I dropped the driver side bulb pin, can anyone help me out as to where I would go to buy a new one? Thanks

I did a simliar in my old car. I phone up BMW assistance and i explained i was changing bulbs and i dropped a metal pin. they suggested taking it to a local dealer but once i explained that i couldnt as the pin could get lost and in your case you need the car at night (bulbs) they immediately sent out a local technician. He used a magnetic rod to fish out the pin. He was quite happy to do it and said that is what they are there for.

I dropped one of the clips as well when I did my first pair of bulbs. I was able to retrieve it with a pair of needle nosed pliers. MAKE SURE when you replace it, you bend it so it wont fall out again !!!!!!!!
