Both keys are exactly the same as the "start button" is a removable button that when removed (for service technicians) it will look exactly like a non keyless go car. But when the button is in place it looks amazing, like as if its not even detachable.

Daniel

Smart Key:

Mercedes no longer uses the "credit card" for Keyless Go systems. It's all built into the key fob now. To get an idea of how Keyless Go works, click here, then go to Features & Specs, Features Spotlight, then Keyless Go. It'll be pretty much the same for the C, except the C has the removable ignition button placed over the ignition hole. Like this:

If you want to watch a nice video and see it on the C-Class, click here, and you'll see it at 03:00.

I believe it is an original MB accessory. It's not mine though, I only have the switch blade key.

Keyless Go is either on the shift knob or the removable ignition button. It depends on the model.

lol

I've always wondered what would happen at airport security if I brought the keys along when I go on a trip...? Read an article about a guy with an Audi who had his key taken away or wasn't allowed on his flight because of the key.

What? That is a bit too far. Maybe in future all clothes must be checked baggage and we travel naked for security reasons.

Keyless Go

if MB put Keyless Go function to gear_Up (like CLK ) I think it would be more COOL and functional

I am not sure to give extra money for Keyless Go

Gear lever. ismeto is not being overly defensive. Just making sure no further misunderstandings come from his post.
