Has anyone seen any online step by step installation instructions for the iPod kit on a W204? I'm thinking that it's too new, for someone to have tried and posted this kind of information yet?

I'd love to install one myself, since the dealers want so much for installation, and it would be fun to work with the car.

Anyway, if anyone has anywhere to direct me. Thanks.

It took the dealership over 2 hours to do mine. They said it was the first they had done on a new C. They showed me how the whole center dash had to be removed since the adapter is actually connected the the steering wheel. That is why it doesn't read out through the head unit. Unless you are a pro (or very well informed on the car) don't try it yourself.

really? I don't know if I believe that. The W203 iPod kit plugs into the back of the head unit and operates the same way. Basically, the iPod kit wiring harness plugs into the back of the HU, and the normal wiring harness then plugs into the iPod wiring harness.
