Whats the deal with the TPMS? Did you re-install them on your new tires? If you don't, does the car throw codes? I got wheels and tires and forgot to give them the stock tires to remove the TPMS and they mounted the wheels on the tires anyway. I haven't put them on yet and I'm hesitant because the last thing I want to see on my dash is an orange or red triangle telling me have some sort of malfunction. Let me know the deal. Im curious to know who did what. Post below! Thanks

If people are possibly confused (because I know atleast SOME of you have 19" wheels here!) TPMS stands for tire pressure monitor sensors. Please post if u have any input

You WILL get a bright red warning screen where your normally calm black/white screen is. You need to install TPMS sensors on your new wheels to avoid this screen. Quite annoying/disturbing -- I saw it when I got a screw in a tire.

Hey, yea I was wondering the same thing. Hey guys what do you think about these AMG rims, will they fit on the W204? (Rim and tire size and all?)

Thanks for the response. I guess I've got no choice then. Yeah those are nice they look like the replicas of the real ones. I'm sure they'll fit.

Get these wheels. They are specifically for the W204

ok i'll speak up.

you will not get the bright red warning screen. that occurs when the tpms actually senses a serious abnormality. experienced this screen when i was attempting to correct my tire pressure but the pump was broken and accidentally let a ton of air out of one of my tires.

what you will see is a small yellow/orange triangle on the right side of the dash with an exclamation mark in the middle. after driving for about 5 miles the dash will display "Wheel pressure sensors inoperative" or something like that. the message is cleared by pressing "OK" on the steering wheel, but the dash light does not go away.

hope that helps.

I'm not really sure about that. But they should fit the oem tpms.

Thanks GPI.

What do you guys think about this one:

I think it looks amazing, although it says nothing about whether they can put the TPMS on it and whether it will fit the W204.

1st: Since there is an option is the setup screen to re-learn tpms setting- can't you do this after you install the new rims?

2nd: A MESSAGE TO ALL WHO ARE SHOPPING FOR WHEELS:
ANY WHEEL THAT FITS ANY PREVIOUS C-CLASS OR ANY OTHER MERCEDES WILL MOST LIKE NOT FIT THE W204 (2008+)
PAY ATTENTION TO THE OFFSET: FRONT HAS TO BE AROUND ET45 AND THE REAR AROUND ET50. WHEELS WITH A OFFSET OF ET35 WILL NOT FIT. THIS CAR REQUIRES A VERY HIGH POSITIVE OFFSET WHICH IS NOT COMMON ON CARS LIKE THIS.
Example:Style IV 18inch AMG 5-Spoke-Wheel for your '08 Mercedes C-Class Sedan:
Finish: Brilliant Silver. Tire Size: 225/40 R18. Wheel Size: 8.0J x 18 ET 50.
List Price: $825.00 | Your Price $701.25
