Helpful Advice to all Clean your filter at 7000 miles

I was curuios to see how to get to the filter in the c class. And I found out when you remove the plastic housing their in there. You will need a star t -25 screw driver once i open them they had so much sand and dirt in the housing that i was shocked how dirty they were. I banged them up against a wall all the feather leaves dirt came out good as new.For the housing sand and dirt stuck inside everywhere so i cleaned it. Where the mass sensor is located there is a mesh it was charcoal black i rubbed a cloth over it cleaned it. The car run good as new. I also did an ecu reset you hear it suck air better now. So dont wait ok pop and clean your filter.

What if we don't live near the beach?

There isn't a beach 300 miles near me.

But great advice...an ounce of prevention..worth a pound of cure!

Thanks

The cheapest way is to disconnect your battery for 30mins or so.

you might need to resync windows and radios... its in your manual.
