Chrome inserts

<<elegant or tacky?>>

Invisible on a silver car but tacky on a dark color. After six months+ I have some minor scratches on my drivers door behind the handle but they will polish off easily.

When I was a kid I looked for all kinds of crap for my car, but now I'm a bit more selective.

They look better on the cars that have the chrome strip running through the handle itself, makes the inserts blend better. But its all with what you like, its your car, you drive it not us..so do what you like

When I had the clear bra done, I also had them do the doors behind the handles to avoid that scratching. So far it work, but collects wax ....

Chrome Door Inserts

Actually, it doesn't look too bad on silver (Iridium or Palladium) at all.
Yes, I would say tacky on black or any dark colored vehicle.

Mine looks amazing with them. Not that noticeable but very nice. Mine came with them because of the keyless go option. (Chrome door handles)

Hi Micropower99. Please some pictures of your car with the chrome door inserts. My car has Keyless-Go and comes with the chrome strip on the door handles. It would be nice to see how it looks with the chrome door inserts.

TIA.

If they don't show too much, then fine, but I agree dark colors especially = tacky

I'm just not a big fan of chrome in general. "Black" chrome, on the other hand...

Sure, I'll post some pics today. Its not that noticeable which is why I like it and think it looks elegant. Not tacky at all in my opinion.
