You get THREE whole channels. WHOOPEE!!!
But...I like the fact that it is possible to receive TV via Sirius without the use of a dish! I knew this was coming......now to get more channels!
Thanks for posting.

I thought those monitors were awful. They
are so bulky! It looks like someone strapped E.T.'s head to the back of your head rest. I love the idea, and I have to imagine Sirius is already working on getting a full line up of "dish-less" channels, but for now I guess if you've got kids thats probably a good investment. What I'm wondering is if you HAVE to use that specific screen, and maybe it is so bulky because it contains whatever receiver is necessary to pick up the signal for the channels. If it isn't I would have some screens flush mounted into the headrests, but not until there are more than three channels. They don't even have adult swim on cartoon network!

I don't think you HAVE to use those screens. The receiver is the box that gets installed into the car somewhere. I went to Sirius's website and checked it out. Haven't quite figured out what the "backseat" part is all about...besides safety of course. If I could get it to display on the front screen, and get more channels...then my passengers would be happy.
