Ever since I bought my new c350, my wife is extremely jealous, i'm always with her, cleaning her, playing with her nav system, take the dust off her wheels weekly, she says i dont have time for her anymore.

Am I the only person on this thread with this problem, please respond.

My girlfriend's father used to run Greenwich Mercedes in CT and grew up with them since she was little. She has only had Mercedes since her 1st car (C230 Komp coupe and C240 sedan.) It wasn't until I got my 1st MB that I really started to make her get into it. She loves it now too. I make her identify years, makes and models on the road constantly. We do, is it a sport kit or AMG?? All the time. I love it when she calls out faked badged cars! I showed her how to look for the big brakes and the difference between crappy shaltz quad tips and true AMG quads. Shes great at it now. We even do Mercedes R.C.'s now! Thats defiantly a good time. Needless to say it has brought us closer together as we are now both able to enjoy one of my passions and I'm sure all of yours, our Mercedes. Shes already accepted the fact that we will need at least a 3 car garage to store my fleet once we buy a home. I can't wait. On our list we've decided we want the following: 500E, 190E 2.3 16V Cos, 560 SEC Widebody, CL65 and the SLC if it ever makes it to production. I'd also really really like an SL gullwing but that one will have to wait. Its fun to talk about our fantasy garage. Anybody else do this with their gf, fiance or spouse??

I do. We're thinking of buying a parking garage for our collection. Not all MB though... cars of all makes and models from all over the world.

Back in the real world, we're working for now on a Porsche Cayman for her and a used Japanese beater that I can modify the crap out of on the cheap. It seems like she almost doesn't care what car it is, as long as it's German, red, and two-seater (SLK, BMW 1-series, Cayman).

I always tell my gf to think of it as the time, and the heart and soul they spend on their make-up compare to how I spend the time, heart and soul with my car. That might help ease their mind a little bit.
