Don't know how, haven't done it, but hopefully the following helps:
https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....4&postcount=18
It's RLE's instructions on how to hardwire a Valentine V1, but it also includes instructions on how to remove the dome light unit. I'm sure you can figure it out from there.
Good luck, and while you do it, please do take lots of pics and post a DIY. You'll be the first, as far as I know.

nolabenz, looks like you are replacing all of your interior wedge bulbs. Have you managed to change those for the vanity mirrors and those in the footwells? If so, can you please share how you removed the covers. Thanks.

I was only able to change out the rear map lights and trunk light. I'm having difficulty taking the cover off of the front dome light. I will keep you updated.

I found changing the trunk one quite easy. I juts opened the flap which is on the side panel near to the lamp - put my hands in there and felt for the bulb
. Once found, I pulled the bulb out and pushed in the replacement. Did it all blind, as it's all behind the side panel.
