Dealer's Heatshield worth it?

The local MB dealer in San Diego is selling a heatshield (windshield/sunshade) protector for around $27 (it was a rolled type not the folded). I was wondering if this is a standard part that all MB dealers are selling or is my dealer "special" --- oh yeah do you think its worth it, what are other's using?

Yes, it's worth it! I called my local Stealerships and they quoted me, 57, 60 bucks! That's insane for a windshield sun visor.

Oh by the way, do you have the number to the dealership? Maybe they can ship it to me? Haha

I'm from SD. Which dealership did you go to?

27 is not bad. It better have a Benz logo or something on it though

MB of San Diego....this is the roll up one, not the nice folded one....I think they carry that at $56....the $27 is not in stock, but they said it would be in sometime next week.

I do not think it had the MB logo....they looked like a metal grate pattern on it, but only looked at it for a few seconds as they didn't have the right size in stock.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I don't understand how this is any different than the ones you can get at the auto parts store.

...this is what I was wondering....the ones at an auto parts store are like 10 to 12$ max.

...i know the expensive one, $56, is really thick and nice and if I were keeping my vehicle and not leasing it, it would be the one I would get.

Looks like they are also specifically cut to fit your particular vehicle too. But it could be a pain in the @ss to unroll the thing and put it on after awhile.
