Unbelievable.

I've also had some recent experience with my MB dealer that taught me that the MB name means jiggity jack shat. The MB dealer reputation of class, integrity, and customer service is just an illusion, except for the few rare ones... mine doesn't happen to be one of those.

Sorry to hear about your loss and generally shatty experience.

I would put it in writing to the Dealership Manager and tell him if you don't get a satisfactory response you will follow up with a letter of complaint to MB.

ALL MB dealerships with in the US are independently owned with the exception of MB of Manhattan which I guess isn't the best to deal with either. My local dealership in Boston were nothing but liars, crooks and frankly morons. I actually called every dealership in the north east looking for a 6sp with nothing in it (its a track car) because i wasn't going to pay for the extra's just to gut the thing. i ended up doing business with the dealership on Long Island. I physically drove 5 hours each way so i wouldn't have to give my local dealership a dime. turns out the guys in Long Island were nothing but professional, classy, hard working employees. they made sure everything was done and done right, followed up constantly and kept tabs on everything to do with the car so if i called and asked a question, it was answered. Even though i was buying more or less, the cheapest car they offered i was treated like i was buying one of the c63's 6 month before anyone else could get one. all i hear is horror stories seemingly about every MB dealer across the country. just figured i say something positive for which looks like the only reputable MB dealership this side of the pond!

Now the thread makes it look like I have a problem with Tampa Bay Mercedes-Benz as well as with my own in California... and I don't even live in Florida! I guess I got problems with M-B dealers all across the USA from West to East.
