New undocumented feature?
Maybe its been mentioned, maybe not -- but:
I was driving along today (VERY hot today) and my air conditioning was on full blast. I pushed the voice control button on the steering wheel and the car lowered the fan speed so that it would be able to understand my commands better. After it accepted the command, the fans kicked back on full blast.
How cool!

I believe a Merc is all about those little things you only appreciate when you get to use your car more often!

I have also noticed when I put the car in reverse- the volume of the stereo and the fan speed lower until I put the car in drive. I guess it is a safety feature so you can hear if you hit something (do I really want to know?)

It's probably more so you can hear if you hit somebody.
