Problems engaging reverse.
Just curious if it's user error, or if its yet another thing not working properly in my car. It's happened three times now in the past two days; I get in the car, turn it over, slide selector into R, R shows in the instrument cluster, and then nothing. But I won't know that so I'll take my foot off the brake and the car will roll (forward if I'm pointed downhill). I'll give it gas and it'll rev up, but it won't move.
I suspect its encountered some internal error condition and gone to Neutral since it rolls instead of acting like it's still in Park.
If I put the gear selector in Park, Neutral or Drive and then back in Reverse it'll work (well, once I had to do it several times before it engaged).
Anybody else encountered it? Going to go over to the E forum and search to see if it's a 7sp known issue.

I think your car is cursed. I suggest you document every single problem you have and send it directly to MBUSA. Never now what they can do about it. Sounds like almost every few weeks your car throws something at you.

mine bangs really hard when switching downshifting(not using tiptronic-and automatic trans) like when you suddenly need to stop from 3rd to 1st the car bangs really hard after its stops
