How many 350 owners debadged?

I know many of the 300 series owners debadge their cars, just wondering how many 350 owners do the same?

I haven't, but I am thinking of doing so when I pick up a few body parts up as aftermarket ones come out.

Not sure this is a really good reason why 350 owners don't debadge but theres alot more C300's than C350's and its a nice way to stand out in the crowd.

That's what I was thinking also...but I sorta like the stealthy mode -- this way no one really knows what you have under the hood...I haven't done mine yet, but thinking....

I don't think its a C300 or C350 thing...the only people who care what's under the hood (or came out the wallet) are insecure people. Look at the brakes if you really care...they tell the real story.

I had wanted to before when I was waiting for the car to get here, but since then I've been too lazy. Still thinking about it though. I like the clean look.

Need something to stand out from all the debadged C300's running around locally. I have a hard time telling them apart until I hit the gas.

With BMW, 328i owners debadge but they don't have duel exhausts like the 335i and the 335i owners that debadge generally have other major cosmetic modifications. I do chuckle when I see a debadged 328i and C300. But it's your car so do what you like.

I really haven't felt the need to debadge. I think it would look too naked or something. And this thread didn't help in my decision: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...hlight=debadge.

+1.

Yeah yeah, it is your car, but doing stuff to hide the model is just dumb. It always annoys me when people put M badges on their non-M BMW or AMG badges on their non-AMG Benz. I've even seen a guy with a GL550 who removed the 0 and added an AMG badge...GL55 AMG. Not even a real car.

I'm sorry, but you fall into the category of poser if you put an AMG badge on your C350. It's your car and you have the right to do whatever you want, but don't be angry if others in the know view you this way. It is NOT an AMG car. I don't care if you have AMG body styling, unless you have AMG motor, transmission, and suspension, it shouldn't be badged as such. If you see people taking pictures of your car, don't be surprised to see it posted online on some spotted thread...

The biggest selling point of an AMG model is the engine. I doubt anybody who buys an AMG model worries about fuel economy. They probably think about punctuation and grammar first.

Well...I guess mine will stay on for now...I do agree that it looks cleaner and easier to wax with them off, but down here in SOCAL, the 300's are as common as Jetta's in Mexico....need something to stand out of the crowd I guess.

Brakes? I have looked at 350's and 300's and unless I'm missing something- they are the same. I even checked the MBUSA site and couldn't see a difference in the specifications.
Now a C63-those are different BRAKES!

brakes on 350 are an inch larger.

brakes on any car will tell you a story...front mainly but rear too. the go fast pedal isn't the only pedal involved with a fast car.

no badges on my 350. not because i am trying to keep a secret. i just think it looks better without the badges on there.
