The dealership is the only place you will find them.

Are these metal surrounds or the original plastic surrounds?

Abort! Abort! .. my previous info was inaccurate. The pins do fit very nicely. My driver side lock need more force for the pins to go on properly for some reason. I tried the passenger side and they went right in nice and flush. So then came back to the driver side with a plier with rubber grips on them and was able to easily screw it all the way in.

No if I can only get 1 passenger side the oem surround this will be a done deal.
Thanks AkaSigFreak for the partnumber i will call my dealership tomorrow and see if they can order me one.

BTW, these chrome pins are very nice. Nice metallic heavy pins fit very well with my interior.

Here is pic of the batmobile. Its a lux 300 with sports grille.

Well here are the pics anyway

As you can see they sit nicely in the ring and from the outside the ring sits flush but from the inside the gap is quite evident. Now my Wife Daughter and Best Friend did not notice the gap ( wife didn't even notice the new pins) but it does bother me. I wonder if the OEM metalic surrounds will work?

This is for front only. They ordered the parts and I pay when I pick them up. Not sure on the price.

NO! The part numbers are for the PLASTIC OEM surrounds. MERCEDES-BENZ DOES NOT MAKE METAL SURROUNDS. My pics show the aluminum surrounds from formymercedes.com . They are essentially the same as your surrounds except made from aluminum. Mine sit closer to the door because I GENTLY tapped them with a rubber mallet.

OK. If the pins are out mine will sit flush it appears to be the pins that push them out. I'm thinking of cutting a slit in one to see if it will sit right.

Ok.. I went ahead and ordered the oem surround (left) driver side from my dealership. They had to order from Germany so it should be in within the next 3 weeks. Price is $3 and change.

Thanks again!

Why did you buy the OEM ones when your car already comes with them?

Because as he said earlier:

Ditto. Unless you remove the door panel and release the clips from underneath- it is somewhat difficult to remove the oem surrounds and the tops are very flexible and warp easily.

I agree. The black surrounds seem to work better in this car.

I'm not sure why we even have pins period? Would have been nice to have a smooth finish and no pins.

Ok, everyone is trying to get metal pin replacements, etc. Has anyone considered or managed to get the old fashioned golf tee pins? I really miss those as I consider it iconic for a mercedes to have them...

Today was a nice day. I did some work on the car. First washed, then waxed.Changed the grill from sport to lux (I have both) Then took care of the door lock pins. Finally got to installing the oem surround and the chrome pins. Everything looks great now. I am one satisfied customer. Also posted some pics. Also posted the grill pics in another thread. Just do a search for "wildcard011"

Here are some pics after the install.
