If we don't get 5 more after you, it will be 179.
We need 20 people for 20% off
We have 15 people as far as i know if you to the group buy, so we will still be getting 10% off.

ebay price is well over $200 shipped and painted for the same exact thing from the same manufacturer

Remember, lots of the more active users are the trailblazers for the w204. We've bit on lots of new options that have come out.... some work, some didn't, but no one would truly know unless someone steps up and tries. Most of us will put our money where our mouth is and spring for customizations and post pics for everyone to see so they can get a better understanding. So don't bash something if it's not to your liking cause I'm sure there's something about your own car that might not be to someone else's liking as well.

I don't see the two as mutually exclusive....I'm just glad my fiancee is supportive of my mod addiction....as long as I get her a nice designer gift every now and then :p

Any pics with the trunk spoiler?? For some reason I cant picture it and think it will be a little too much going on in the back. I love how it looks in that OEM pic above...if you guys happen to have a pic with the trunk spoiler in it and I like it I'M IN!

Hey AZN
BRAD is a good guy. Plus, there are a few members buying not only the roof spoiler, but also the trunk spoiler (combo deal). So if you are able to get 17 or 18 people in the GB, maybe you or me can ask him for 15% discount. That's better than 10%. I think he will be ok with that.

ATSOBE, all you have to do is go to www.paypal.com, then just email $50 deposit to carkingtuning@gmail.com with paypal.

I bought my Trunk Spoiler from carkingtuning and I'm pretty dissapointed with the overall quality.
First, the double sided tape that was attached to the spoiler came off. The seller simply offered a $10 credit, which never came.
Second, there were unfinished edges that needed to be touched up.
Third, the left and right edges don't sit flush with the car.
Lastly, the entire piece feels cheap.
Anyway that's just my 2 cents.

But guys come on, we want to pay nothing and we want the best quality of the world... if we want real good quality we have to spend more $ for the OEM spoiler.
So i will see what quality it is, and if the paint isn't good i have to re-paint it.... but than it's still cheaper than the OEM.... and otherwise i sell it on ebay
We have to wait what the result is....

somebody who is in on the GB, copy and paste this and send it to Brad... Let him know that we won't accept anything described as in the above, as a heads up so he will avoid the hassle afterwards...

Not a good sign... we better be sure about this guys...
At least now I need more confirmation before I plop down the rest of the balance to this guy...
Just like Darth got scammed on his CF diffuser, this could be the same type of deal, and we have no recourse unless we dispute with our credit card company, which is always a BIG hassle...

Nothing is perfect. it's like you can get a defect car even buying a Mercedes. I believe Brad didn't get a high positive feedback buying selling non-quality parts or providing bad customer service. If I was the seller, of course, i would also watch my interest and see if they customer can accept minor defect with a discount. To save the money and 2 way shipping.
Like I said, No one is perfect. We can certainly notify Brad about this dissatisfied incident. I am sure he will do his best to make sure our parts are good. Afterall, we are his 1st GB. He really isn't making money on this GB. Probably only getting his money back for the OEM part, the molding, etc. He has to make sure the parts are good, otherwise, the words will spread.

after all, we trust forum members most, and so far, the ONLY member who has actually received the roof spoiler is UNHAPPY...

Anyways, I don't think we should ask for discounts on defective spoilers. This is just an easy way out for Brad. We should state clear that we will not accept defects, period.
I don't want a crappy spoiler, even if it for free!
I'm willing to accept MINOR imprefections, but the bottom line is that this spoiler should add style to the car, not lable its driver as a cheap guy who didn't get OEM.
And before I get the "go buy an OEM then!", lets all remember that this GB is suppose to be for a quality product, so we shouldn't settle for less.

I dont trust this. So i just bought the OEM roof spoiler (getting painted as we speak) and the pre painted OEM C63 Trunk spoiler because i didnt want the w204 one, its not as nice. Yes they're different, i just found out today that they have different part numbers.
But yeah, that was almost 1000.00 so im broke for the week.

To clarify, I got the trunk spoiler, not the roof spoiler.
And yes, I will email him and ask him for my refund again.
Regardless, I had to spend about 5 hours of my time going out to buy the double-sided tape (it was difficult finding 1/4" tape), re-applying it, and then installing it.
I wouldn't have such a negative review if not for the painting. The few spots that I had to touch up not only cost me money ($15 for the touch-up) but another few hours of my time. Everything else was somewhat expected for a cheap replica.
In the end, you get what you pay for.
Hope it helps.
