hey guy i were going to get two magnaflows installed tomorrow but can't bring my self to install them on the fine *** Benz. It doesn't feel like im giving the car the premium thing she requires. So when i get back next year(work) see is going to get vrp headers and hopefully someone has come out with a exhaust system for the car w/ sound clips.......i chickened out but i feel good about it. i am also putting the stock diffuser on w/ tips silverline brand friday can't wait

yeah the quad exhast is great my tips stick out more than i like, and finding good tips/good shop to do the work gets harder every day. im going to this place in concord, cali called west coast mufflers he has a decent sized shop so going to give him a try. Magnaflows to me just don't fit the/any mercedes just my thoughts

Keep us posted on this. I work in Concord so if it works out good for you, I'll have to seriously consider this.

yeah i will but im going back to the stock diffuser piece and custom tips singles on each side......like stock will take pics

IMHO just do what sounds and looks best. Unless brand names are crucial to you then it shouldn't matter. If I can get the same style, sound and performance from a cheaper exhaust, then why not get it? I can see how you feel Magnaflows seem "cheap" to put on the car since they are usually only seen on domestic cars or "cheaper" rides. Just consider this though: In Germany, they make exhausts and mufflers that are pretty much the same quality as Magnaflow and people put those on their cars there (Mercedes, Audi, BMW, VW - "domestic" cars in Germany). The argument is almost like saying you don't want to put Japanese rims on a Mercedes because that might "cheapen" the car or something. Have you seen the prices on Volks or similiar wheels? I guess it just comes down to personal preference.

yeah i just don't wanna keep throwing money away.....if i heard it on an 08 then this would not be the case, don't wanna be the muffler shop test subject.
