C-Class at the Drive-In
Hey Guys and Gals,
here's a question for you, do you know how to get the lights off but leave the radio on??????
I have keyless go, and at the drive in I could not figure out how to get all lights to be off (becuase the parks were always on). Basically I had to take it out of A mode, put the lights on "off" which isn't really off ...
At one point the radio ****s down unless you start it again because it thinks you're inactive or something .... I had to start it again, open the door and close it to get the lights to go off again. I ended up taking off the keyless go button, putting in the key and leaving it in to get the lights to not be on, but same thing with the inactive radio after some mins, and having to turn it on and off etc ...
HELP
I don't think I can convince my wife to take the Benz to the drive in anymore :S ... my RDX is so much easier ... seats down, blankets in the back, hatch open, and surround sound .... good to go.

When the car is completly off (no key or anything)... you can just push the power button on the MM and turn on the sound system. Then flip the screen down so it doesn't distract from the movie. I'm not sure if it will shut off after a while, but I know that I had it on for nearly an hour when I was washing and vacuuming the car the other day.... so it should be fine for the movie.

Got to park. pull out the key.. open the door. close the door. then press power and then retract the MM screen. I was sitting in my car once and my parking lights were on, then i figure that once you open the door and close it, it turns off.

There's some kind of deal in the car computers that will shut down radios and such if the car thinks it might be hard to start ... i.e., you'd be running the battery down. So, maybe that was the problem?
