And i dont know if i'm wrong, but by my previous Mercedes the tire pressure wasn't with any sensor. When i putt AMG wheels on my previous car there wasn't a sensor but the ESP measures the rotation and give's the signal if the tire was low-pressured. (but that was told me by the dealer)

TPMS deals wit the rotation of the wheels, which tells the vehicle when pressure is low, not to let that one turn as fast as the others especially while in a turn at high speeds. and it also notifies u that u need air in the tire.

But it was not a W204, it was by a W169 (A-class)

Now i understand why i didnt understand...
-USA models use an "active" TPMS system, in that each wheel has a pressure monitor as part of the valve. They operate at a fixed radio frequency, are expensive, and easy to damage. Without them, you will indeed get error messages.
-Canadian models use a "passive" TPMS, wherein underinflation is inferred by using the ABS system to measure the rate of rotation of each wheel. This is theoretically less precise, but a whole lot cheaper and vastly simpler.
