hey i was on renntechs website and notice that they have a CF airbox for the SLK280 doesn't it have the same motor a the C300........If so shouldn't the airbox fit.

i don't know how to look up parts numbers, but couldn't you just look up the part number to the airboxes to see if they are the same?

It says the airbox is 1000$ on their site, no? Also where could we purchase it from? Is there any online shops or anyone that lives near a renntech dealer?

yeah, if you can find out about this, that'd be great. Wouldn't mind this upgrade if the cost was reasonable.

Now just gotta find a CF engine cover to match. We have that nice 90 degree angle hood, might as well show off what's inside.

So this is just the CF airbox, not the engine cover as well? Damn. Oh well It will still look sick. BTW I did check the part numbers on the EPC and they are the same.

Ron Jr, when you get a chance ask them also hbow much it is. Then if it all sounds good I'll pay you to buy it for me and give you an extra 100$ or what not for your work.

called the renntech in cali and they said that its a typo on their website it will be a minute before this comes out. he said they have to finsh the C63 box first then the 550 boxes next so.............but he did comfirm this for me

So the SLK 280 box is not for the SLK 280? Or it is but it's different then our engine?

the cf box is still being developed they made a mistake on the website its not ready yet according to the guy i talked to........i think when i get back from overseas im going to try to get with some companies to get something rolling for out cars this SH*T is starting to **** me off.

yeah micro looked it up on the epc and its the same.............i asked the renntech guy and he said it should fit as well
