My new 09 C350 where did you go?
I order my 09 C350 long time ago, and dealership said it would be here at the end of July at the latest. Well, it is here but they order C350 without the Navigation system which I wanted.
I acutally told them I wanted Navi couple days after I ordered which was couple months ago, and the dealership said that wont be a problem.
Now, they are saying stuff like ... ohh if you request it after the order go in this stuff can happen, (dude I told you couple days after I ordered, not couple months after) do you just want to take C350 without Navi, or you have to wait another 3 months.!...
seriously , i am sorry but thats bull man..
I am very close to losing it..
What can I do?? I was thinking about giving me a discount or something!!

Then again with as many dealers as there is around here, everyone's careful to be extra nice to win your business.
Probably no help here, but I just find it amazing how a little competition can change the buying experience. On the other hand if you have other dealers around you, walk away. I personally have trouble giving my money to stupid, or arrogant people for that matter.

Not much you can do in this case. You can ask the dealer to find another car that matches as close to your specs as possible from another dealership and have them swap cars for you. If it has more options, then you should hold them to your original agreed upon price. If it has less, then I say just wait another 3 months. Sucks, but not much you can do in this case.

if they told u no problem to ur request they should honor it
in my area the navigation model only comes in year 09 which i couldnt wait for
so i decide to get a separate navigation myself or install after market in car tv sets

And they're right... they should have given you a printout of the updated order, but you should have also asked for one if it wasn't offered right away. Clerical errors happen all the time in all businesses when the normal process is not followed. It's a bit like ordering something off the menu or with slight changes in a restaurant, with the difference that getting it wrong here does indeed take several months. I think you're SOL and will not be getting a discount.

He is correct, you should have gone there to get a print out. I did the same exact thing when I originally ordered it with leather, but changed my mind and went with MB-Tex. Even though they assured me it was fine, I wanted to leave nothing up to chance and went there to get a print out. Hindsight is 20/20 I know, but yeah.
