ipod kit how to use it??
when i plug in my ipod to my glove box it freezes and then i have to unplug it and change the song on my ipod to switch to the next song can anyone tell me what im doing wrong. thank you.

i wish i could tell you what's wrong...maybe you need to reset your ipod. as soon as i plugged in my ipod, set audio to aux input, everything was fine. i didnt have any issues with the ipod freezing

Then look at your MFD. You should see the song playing listed there. You then use the steering wheel controls to control the iPod. You can't control the iPod with the clickwheel. You have to control it with the steering wheel. Here is another link that may help:

It takes a while to figure out how to use the steering wheel to reach all of the menu options on the iPod. It's not real user friendly and I don't advocate doing it while you are driving.

if your iPod freezes, try to reset the iPod by pressing both "MENU" and "Center Button" at same time (don't plug the cable). My iPod kit works well with 2G/3G/4G and my iPhone.
