Problem with my P1 radio?

Wife was complaining last week that all of her presets were gone? I was thinking she must have just accidentally hit something? I detailed the car today and tried to reprogram the presets on the radio & serious radio. Turned the car off to move it and all of the presets are gone again? Anyone else, do I need to hit MB up for a new radio too now. This car is starting to drive me crazy.

You might want to check your battery and alternator. Sounds like an electrical issue. I have a w203, and I discovered that in my Audio 20 headunit, not all settings are stored in the headunit. For example, when I was installing my iPod integration kit, I had to unplug and replug in my headunit when I added the new wire harness. I did not unplug the battery. The headunit, at that point would have lost any retained information, because it lost it's power source. But when I plugged it back in, I pressed my preset buttons for kicks, and they were all retained, but my EQ settings weren't. I think some values are stored in the car's information computer, and not in the headunit. There might be a power loss in that area.
