ECU - Where Is It
The silver box on top of our engine in the middle of the airbox is the ECU. I was shocked to hear this as it's a major hot spot but that box is it none the less.

2009 C350W on EDP
It is actually cooled by the aircleaner assembly enclosure's forward to aft airflow across the ECU then downward into the upper intake plenum.
