Am in for lunch, but where? Want lots of free parking and authentic Japanese food....try Izumi-Ya at the NW sector of #3 Road and Alderbridge. It is basically a Japanese grocery store with prepared food section. They have a place for you to have a sit-in lunch. Very spartan, but the food is reasonably good.
Other, place is Seto which is right besides Caps bicycle store..

Sorry for the off topic question, but since you all live in or around Vancouver, can any of you recommend a good place to get my windows tinted? In BC it is illegal to tint the front 2 windows but I would like to get the 4 sides done and the rear. Have any of you had any issues with the police here?

Yea I had a problem a long time ago with the fronts. Since then I've always tinted the rear 3 windows and it still looks damn pimp. The best place is N-Motion tinting in Burnaby/Van, look them up, they did a great job on my ride.

If it's sushi, let's go for some authentic sushi like Wild Sockeye Salmon, Red Tuna (no farmed salmon, albacore etc.). Benggolf, you know Richmond well, could you pick make reservations for 6 to 8 please?
If it's not sushi, then we could simply walk over to Earl's for food and drinks.
Meet at 2pm for people who just want to view.

Three of us were there at 12:00, waited until approx 12:15 and then went for Sushi. The sushi was great and we had an opportunity to get to know each other. We were back at the meet location at 2:00 and did not see anyone else.

rs1985 Were you the one I saw making a left turn from Lansdowne Road to Cooney at about 12:03PM? I was on Cooney about to cross Lasdowne Road.
Then, we saw you again at about 2PM coming out from Lansdowne parking making a left to Kwantlen Road. We were on the Silver C55 heading back to the meeting after lunch.
You are driving a white W204, right?

We waited till about 12:10PM before proceeding to Seto for lunch. Bondo & C350Silver left their cars on the lot for the benefit of those who didn't want to join in for lunch, but plan on appearing by 2PM.
Remember, the meeting place is at the SE corner of Lansdowne Mall's parking lot; right at the far corner of Zeller. Kwantlen college is just across the road.
Never just drive thru during a meet; park and wait.
