This fellow has MB replica 16" wheels on a C-300. Looks good. The shot shows a very tight clearance, but clearance it is.

Mercedes actualy sels a 16" for a W204 C300 in their wheel catalogue
Part number A 204 401 1102 recommends 205/55 R16 tires.

You can go to the individual national websites for MB in the EU, and get similar content.

C300 Sport 2008
Sorry for bringing this thread up, but i think it has pertinent information since I am asking the same question, just needing clarification.
So what is the verdict on whether 16" wheels on a C300.
I have a 2008 C300 (2 wheel drive) Sports package and right now I have the 18" AMG wheels that comes with it. Needing to get winter tires though. I was thinking of getting 16" if they would fit without it being against MB warranty rules or being too small for the break calipers.
Anyone know a definitive answer? Thanks. I live in MI so the snow gets really bad and without some really good winter tires, I'm not going to be going anywhere.

It's been really cold here for the past 2 days.. and it also concerned be that it is time to start looking for winter rims + tires.. so 16"s do fit on our C300s right?

I have started my winter tire/wheel shopping and contacted a local shop recommend by another W204 Owner who bought from them last year. The shop offered me wheel/tire packages with either 16" or 17" MB replica wheels. I have an 09 C350 4Matic with the 18" AMG wheels. The shop said although many people believe that 16's won't fit on a C350, they claim with the right offset they fit. They sold 3 such packages last winter.
I may still go with 17" to avoid any possible warranty issues, but haven't completely decided yet.

That's not what the 2010 MB C-Class accessory catalog for Canada reflects. They offer 3 different 16" wheels (2 with only 43mm offset), and in each case they state not for the C300 or C350 .... page 12:
http://www.mercedes-benz.ca/site/mb_...nal_Englsh.pdf
They are limiting them to the C250, for which MB spec's these disc's, 11.6"F, and 11.8"R . The 16"s either interfere with the canada C300/350 calipers, or are so close that small rocks etc may cause noise/scratching.
USA
The 2010 MBUSA site lists the same disc's diameters for the C300 sport and lux models, 11.6"F & 11.8"R , and larger 12.7" front dics for the C350.
-----------
This brings up a question, does the C300 sport in canada have the big C350 front brakes?
-----------
For more comfort, it seems like 16" 205/55 with right offset should fit on USA C300's with 11.6"F discs. Not sure about canada. Either way, I'd test fit the wheel 1st.
For winter tires, same case with 16", but I'd also check tirerack for 17"x7", which would match up with 205/50x17 winter tires. Verify min load rating of 91.

My spare tire on my C300 Sport '08 (got the car in the US, not canada) is 125/90 R 16. Isn't that 16"?
Granted its a spare and not for normal use and all that.

I've seen a Canadian W204 w. 16' but it was real tight ... any rock could cause serious damages.

16 inch borbets, 205/60-16 Yokohama Ice Guard Studless on 2008 C300 4matic sport for 2 winters, 23,000+ miles. No issues with in mounting related to offset, front caliper clearance, fender clearance. Narrower width better in snow. Rest of year running on 17" staggered factory wheels/tires.
