wheels for 2008 C350 Sport?
Howdy,
I've been shopping for some 19" wheels for my black 2008 C350 and it's a real struggle. Every time I find a wheel that appeals to me and I go to buy it the dealers say it won't fit the car. It seems that most of the web sites use data for the C300 and C350 that considers them the same so wheels show up in the searches for C350 that will not fit due to differences in the brakes.
I don't want to modify the suspension or body of the car to make the wheels and tires fit. If anyone out there has pics and specs on a succesful installation of custom wheels on a C350 please post the pics so I see samples of wheels that actually work.
Thanks
Steve

any custom wheel brand should be able to make it fit since it's....custom. 2 or 3 piece forged wheels should fit any offset. I'm assuming that's what you meant when you said custom right? HRE, IForged, DPE, Maya, Lowenhart, VIP, Auto Couture etc etc.

Yes, I'm looking for 19s also and it is pretty frustrating. The wheel offsets are totally off from any other MB or other 5x112 bolt pattern cars. And spacers won't help because that would make the offset even worse. To find wheels that you really like you pretty much have to go with custom(made to order) rims(assuming you are going for a staggered setup). Otherwise the selection is pretty limited. From my measurements an offset of front between 42-45mm and rear between 45-50mm would be the max to keep the tires flush with the fender. You have to lean toward the higher offsets for wider tires and rims and if you plan on lowering the car to prevent rubbing. Maybe those with experience can chime in with there wheel widths, tires, and offsets (pictures would be a plus)!
