USA 2009 C350 production delay
I have had a c350 on order since late June and was expecting it to build the week of 8/10. I just got an e-mail from my dealer saying that build date now looks to be first week of November with a December delivery date. Has anyone else had an issue with getting a 09 350 order delivery date (in the USA)
Right now BMW and Infiniti are running aggressive finance specials and discounts from what I have heard, I guess it is time to look at the 335 and the M45 again

I finalized my order in June and the scheduled build date was 8/10/08. It was actually assembled on the planned date and I have been given the VIN number by my dealer.

2008 overstock? Factory probably pulling back to sell off inventory.
FYI, Toyota now has about 160 days stock on hand for Tundra and Sequoia. They're closing plants for four months.
Nissan Titan, I believe is 400 days stock on hand! I'll check the trades Monday to verify.
Fortunately, MB'z sales actually went up last month. Not bad in this market.

Well, I sent an e-mail to my dealer today requesting my down payment back. I am not going to have $1000 of my money tied up at the dealer for 5+ months for a pretty run of the mill car order. It was to have MM, Prem 2 and '18 AMGs, nothing exotic. If the $$ down was for something like a c63 then maybe I would let them keep the funds for that length of time.
