license plates LED DIY help!!!

I just received a pair of LED bulbs for my car and I wanted to know if anyone has installed them correctly without any problems. As far as I know you need to get resistors?? or something like that....can somebody give me some DIY instructions please..thank you.

thanks for your help, I am relatively new to the forum. By the way would this process void any manufacture warranty? Do you know?

You are messing with the wiring so I would imagine if the AD is looking for something they would make a stink. I would just switch to Polarg M4's

I have heard that the M4 Polargs were not white enough? I wasn't sure if they would look as nice as the LEDs...this sux bc I just ordered 2 pairs of LEDs bulbs for the eyelids I'm hesitating whether to replace them or not now.

If you use the LED's you will have to add resistors. I find the Polargs throw a nice white light. Do a search for Polarg on the forum many pics have been posted.

yeaa..I was able to find many pics of the Polarg's M4...I don't think I will use LED since splicing of wires is required with the resistors and I certainly don't want to void my warranty...so how many bulbs total do I need? for the eyelids (4), license plates (2), what about side markers and turn signals? and trunk..no interior mods yet...thanks ron

Polarg super white. Looks better live as camera distorted the coloring and brightness somewhat.

from the pic..it appears white, so if I want to match it with my HID which are 8K (white w/tint blue) should I get the blue polargs or hyper white or super white?

super white. You'll be rolling with the same setup I'm using.

Aren't there 2 side markers in the rear that also use the wedge bulbs? Since they are behind red lenses, I guess there is no need to replace them. BTW, I replaced my eyelid bulbs with PIAA Plasma Ion wedges that show up light yellow. It would be a lot better if I can find something darker to match the amber side markers.

Yes it is a lot I still need 7 to finish. As well as the M88 if that is right for the rear courtesy light. Anyone know?

Pop hood and there are "tubes" above the lights. Just undo the cap and play
