2011 DIESEL ML
I am running a Alpha Omega from Cosco. It fits well, has a decent safety rating and my boy likes the armrests. The only problem is that is brown and the interior of my car is black

SunshineKids Radian 80. Little hard to find at retail (at least it was when we bought it) ... had to go to a chee-chee high-end kid crap boutique to have our son sit in it.
My pref was the recaro but my son hated the wings; they blocked his outside view.
One of the pluses of the Radian 80 is that it's narrow. Which works out well for my son because he's a bean pole. But it also means that for short trips adults can actually sit in the middle of the back seat. Or, and this is really its claim to fame, you can get three seats across if needed.
Downside is that it's heavy as a tank so even though they advertise that you can fold it up and take it with you when you travel I'd hate the thought of lugging it. We end up leaving it in the car and paying for the car seat from the rental company (which sometimes is more expensive than the daily charge for the car ... go figure).
