i would imagine it is also because of the import tax on higher displacement cars. C350's 3.5L would put the price too high into the E-class range and might put people off from buying it. Taiwan and HK are like that. only C280/300 are available and jumps to C63.Originally Posted by whkento
Also, the 350 isn't offered in all markets. In Japan, it jumps from the 300 to the 63.

Tony,
MKB's warranty is for the ecu only. That means if the ECU were to be replaced due to an issue with the MKB tune files, MKB would replace it a no charge.
MKB offers a NO CHARGE reflash if for whatever reason your ecu is flashed over by your Mercedes dealer. This may happen if Mercedes requires a total ecu update, this would eliminate the MKB flash.
As for the horsepower, our measurement is at the crank - as is Mercedes. The wheel HP will vary based on what dyno you use, and the experience of the operator.
Which forum are you talking about the group buy? How are things going in getting people on board?
Best Regards

Looks like they gave themselves an out, when you get an actual 10hp to the wheels , it was the dyno operators "inexperience" Originally Posted by junkfoodz

what about the adaptive learning of the ecu? if you reflash your car with the mkb software but you dont typically drive hard, wont it just become as unresponsive as the factory one?
