Hi Guys

I painted the bottom strip of the OEM diffusor. It looks kind of like the CLS and CLK ones. I think this will only work on light color cars.

What do you guys think?

 

not too crazy about it, but doesnt look bad at all... how about some pics of the whole top of the car so we can get a better feel for it???

Good for now until you get you amg diffuser and quad tips...

Looks good from that pic. And I think you are right it would not work with black.

 

i actually don't want to get the AMG diffusor and quad tips. the only thing i would do is get bigger size tips if they are out there.

 

here is the whole car. i painted the top attenna, too. don't like the black attenna. strange that only C class has unpainted attenna.

 

Looks alright but hard to keep that piece clean, along with the rims, etc. ..

 

Looks cool, does your white paint match with your car color? Hard to tell from the pics.

I've seen some Iridium Silver with matching antennas.

 

ha ha, since i did it myself, i tried using the closest color possible. but.... not perfectly match...

I just want to do little things that make my car stands out from the rest.

i like, even tho i think it would be a pain to keep clean, if i didnt drive mine, or it i was making it a show car, it would be a definite thing i would do.

is it hard to get that anttenna cover off or did you paint it on the car? if you took it off how, i want mine painted too!

 

Like the paint antenna, didn't have that problem myself.

 

actually, the dealer painted that for me. that's the only thing i could bargain for when making the final purchase.... i was trying to get a set of all weather mats, but.... my sales wouldn't give them to me.
i think it was painted on the car.

Painted antenna looks good. I would have done this too if I didn't have pano. Definitely want color matched antenna to roof. Should have been standard on all our cars.

Yeah, it's in pleasanton. I have an extra ticket if anyone wants to go. $15.

How do you get it at 1/2 price, cuz you're a participant? Are you in a crew or representing solo? I used to be in these shows aside from HIN also way back in the days (1997-1999) when I had my Honda Prelude.

I would love to go, but not by myself though...it's not something my wife is intersted in...

 

No, I'm selling my extra ticket at discount price cause I originally was just going to go with my girl before being approached to show, in which case I my show ticket gets me in, so I have an extra ticket I'm offering at a discounted price. It'll be a pdf which you can just print out yourself. I'll be with the DVS/HMS/VERSUS group. Get some friends together and go!

thanks guys... it is a good idea, but i didn't do a good job. it's hard to paint on plastic and the color didn't match 100%. so i decided to take it to professional. This time, i think i am gonna paint the side mirrors, too. will post pictures later.

 

might be doing the C63 style quad exhaust + Diffuser
