Any Canucks know how long from Halifax to Ontario?
Hey guys,
My car has ETA of October 8th in Halifax. Any idea how long it takes to clear customs and get transported to Ontario?

To quote the sales consultant's email dated September 17, 2008:
"I just had an update from our transportation department. Your car has arrived in Halifax and has been released to the carrier. Once I get the rail report, I will let you know".
Follow up with Finance manger today (September 25, 2008):
"Nothing has changed in the rates or incentives. We are just waiting for your car to arrive I have put a rush on it and we have been watching it daily, I would think you will be able to pick it up early next week".
In my case, it might be around 8-9 business days.
Hang in there Craiger! Your ship will come in soon - with your new car

Thanks guys, I'm East of Toronto, so hopefully I'll be driving it by the end of the 2nd week of October. I know it hasn't been that long (ordered it the last week of July) but I am pumped that it's almost here...my first Benz and I'm like a kid at Christmas!!!

Just got a voicemail at 10am from the dealership. Car is on transport, which means will arrive at dealership early afternoon, can pick up car tonight or tomorrow.
In my case, it took 8 business days for the car to arrive after docking in Halifax.
Finally, no more being a car-renting hobo.
