I understand what goes into making it and the material but I have a hard time forking that much loot over for something so prone to damage. I know my wife will scuff the thing the first week it's on the car.

Is your front bumper now scuffed up now beyond recognition? Because this maybe lowers the car 1". And if it is scrapped it is scrapped on the bottom where no one sees.
its the 18th over here can't wait....2 more days as per the website

Spoke to Neil at Euroteck today. Lip is not available yet. He said they are going to test fit again and if everything is good- they will start production (which takes 2 weeks). He also said the cf mirror covers, and the cf rear diffuser for the dual exhaust (C300/C350) will be coming soon. I can't wait.

don't even worry about it. if the w204 CF lip is as good of a quality as their w203 lip, it's gonna withstand a nuclear blast, LOL. i scrape EVERY time i get on the drive way, but like Neal says, it's only noticeable on the bottom. my lip is still looking FRESH as hell, and i've hit a lot of things too. parking blocks, loose tires on the freeway, dogs, it has been through it all!

Yes, it will be just under $600.
We do not use silver CF. Silver CF is actually fiberglass. Its very stiff and hard to work with.
