LED Eyebrows *pictures inside*

Got bored one day and decided to take the risk of doing the LED mod with the resistor trick.

So here they are *Pictures are straight from an iPhone so they aren't BS..*

They are actually more blue in person. For those who want to do this mod I recommend heat shrinking the resistor so they won't burn the headlight

i love it.

What bulbs/resistors did you use? (and where do i get them?)
I want to do the same thing for my lic. plate lights.

you will need a 5W 100ohm resistor for the LEDs, wired positive to negative.
I've done this to my rear license plate lights and plan to do this for my eyebrows soon.

You could get resistors on the internet for LED car bulbs but they are way overpriced (about $9 to $20 for a pair), but I've found resistors at a local electronics surplus store for a buck or two each. Radio Shack doesn't carry these resistors.

Heat shrink wrapping the resistor will not insulate any nearby parts from melting from the heat, but it makes for a better and near job. In addition to the heat shrink I recommend encasing the resistor in a small piece of styrofoam insulation and wrapping with electrical tape.

Sounds good man Yeah you can get the resistor like 88 cents for a pair of resistors. But if you want good outcomes I recommend high end LEDs
