Is my Moon Roof supposed to stutter when closing?

Is my Moon Roof supposed to stutter when closing?
When i click the moon roof to open, it slides back perfectly, but when i click to close it, firstly i have to hold the button, and secondly, it stutters the whole way back to close. Its not smooth at all nor is it automatic.

Is this normal?

i had the same exact thjing happen to me last week.. i brought it to benz tuesday and they fixed it for me on the spot.. they said somethin about being a computer problem.. idk but its all good now

no its not normal. it shoould be smooth and automatic. go have them look at it and they should fix it like big said

Mine did the sme thing a couple of weeks ago. The dealer had to re "flash" the computer...10 minutes.

Same thing in my W203. Apparently the system will lose its position sync. Eventually it won't matter how many times you try to do a re-sync yourself. This is a known issue. The dealer should pop the car on the computer for free and re-flash the system.

Mine slides open and closed fine, but when I tilt it up, sometimes it makes a LOUD grinding sound. Quite annoying.
