Im having a hard time understanding how keyless go works. I read the manual and have been unsuccessful locking all doors when I exit the vehicle. it worked once or twice. am i doing something wrong or is there something the matter with my car? i just picked up my 09 last wednesday, and i love it but i notice when i shut off the engine the radio stays on and the car still has power. and also i can never lock the door without using the smart key (which imo defeats the purpose of keyless go).

suggestion = Talk to the service dept.

Once you are about 5 - 10 feet away from your car, the doors should lock. As the post above says, have a chat with the service dept.

Hum, is this one of these things US vs Rest of the World ? Here in Belgium, you have to manual close the doors by pressing one of the four door sensors with your finger. I purposely once left my car unlocked to see if it closed automatically but no deal.

No, you are wrong i have keyless go too and i have to put my hand on the door to open and to close i have to put my hand against the door.

slide your palm from one side of ur handle to the other side
it will lock
the lights will turn off a bit later
