LED Eyelids

If anyone is looking for LED's for their eyelids with resistors built in, ECS Tuning has them. I have them in my car and they are great. They were easy to install, just pull your old bulbs, snap these in and you are up and running. I know I've been wanting to change the eyelids to LED's ever since I got the car.

whoa ... that is pimp but can you post pictures of how they look uninstalled?

couple other Qs:

1. Are they messy?
2. What LEDs do they use?
3. How do we know they wont melt anything?
4. is that 100 + shipping?

Sorry no pics before.

1. They aren't messy at all.
2. ZiZa is the brand.
3. They have been in my car for a while with no problems. They don't get any hotter than the regular bulb.
4.Its 100 and free shipping or if you are local, you can pick them up.

sweet.

i seen a few pictures of led eyelids but this is the first that it actually looks like 2 bulbs are in there, is it just the lighting? Usually the eyelid looks like 1 whole strip of light.

Kind of looks like the lights are very close to the lense, I would be scared that it might melt something.

Its just the lighting.

The lights are in the exact same postion as the stock ones. I just talked to the contact at ECS he said not to worry about melting anything. The LEDs actually run cooler than regular bulbs is what je said.

They are a blueish white and much brighter than the stock. They a very very similar to the look of an HID.

Secondly, ECS has informed me that there will not be a group buy on these and the price is set at $100 shipped.

In the picture it does look like 2 bulbs as mentined before. To the naked eye, does it look like a strip (as the stock) or can you tell there are 2 bulbs?

The easiest way to explain it is imagine the way your stock eyelids look, only with LED's. Mine have the same look as stock but with LED's instead.

The lights go into the housing like normal. We were able to get 3/4 of the wiring in the housing and are going to get the rest in this week or weekend. If you give Chris a call or send him an email, he can tell you how to do everything. He's the one that R & D them.

Can you elaborate on how to get the wires into the housing? It'll be nice if you could show us some photos of the LEDS in the housing. Thanks!

I think this is the part from ECS tuning. Very helpful people on the phone. Look at the picture of the LED light. I think he means the wire from the plug to the LED light part
