I will be watching this thread with great interest, as I'd like to do this, too. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about how to do it.

Thumbs up

I've also been wanting to do this for a while. Just haven't gotten around to actually fiddling around in the trunk. If anyone does manage it, please do a DIY on it!

The sound amplifier connector 1 pins 3/15/4/16 should drive the bass speaker. The diagrams cover it as two separate speakers but is it actually a dual cone speaker? Anyway 3 and 4 are positive wires and the colours are white, brown/yellow, green, brown/green in the order as above.

so i gave up........

....on trying to install it myself and took the car into Audio Innovations of Fresno. here is the outcome........

i have a rubber Vans mat i use to keep things on from sliding around, keep it extreme!

its screwed into the baseboard and not into the frame/body. its really stable on its own and doesnt really need to screwed in, but i figure if i punch it i dont want it to slide around. Infinity really built it solid!

its the infinity basslinkII with built-in 250 watt amp. 2 10" square woofers, 1 passive 1 active. the thing really pounds, and is super clean. hardly takes up any room to "boot"! <--- sorry bad pun!

ALSO.... the sub has a hardwired level control for blending, which comes in handy!
